063 Crochet Daisy Necklace

063 Crochet Daisy Necklace

A delicate crochet flower necklace as fresh as – well – a daisy !

This will look stunning but you could just make one flower as a brooch if you can’t face making the set. Pastel shell pink or lemon would look good too, or how about a dark colour for evening?

The crochet looks intricate, but is easy to do.

nb they need to be starched or sized with glue to keep their stiff shape.

These are worked with Coats crochet cotton number40 (one ball) no4 (uk) hook.

065 Mother Daughter 1887

065 Mother Daughter 1887

A dead simple, classic, “sixties crochet dress” for girls and ladies! It would work as a tunic over trousers too.

You can fit out the whole team!

The pattern is given for front and back pieces; but you could easily work in the round once past the armholes- perfect for low concentration crochet –on a long journey, or in front of the TV to minimise any “couch potato guilt” LOL.

068 Baby Booties and Slippers 122

068 Baby Booties and Slippers 122

A sweet very vintage set of baby booties-including a cute little moss (seed) stitch “slipper” and a chunky “moon boot” one (long before they appeared for adults!).

Straightforward 2 needle (ie flat shapes) knitting, new knitters may need a read through the instructions first to get the hang of the 3D construction, but they are very clear. As it says

”these instructions are the work of an expert knitter and if followed carefully satisfactory results cannot fail to be achieved” so there you are!

Go on have a go, for that new baby!

The original is available, but NOT included in the PDF listing, please contact WZ if interested..

069 Teacosies Draft Excluder 1101

At last one for crocheters… *

Two novel crochet tea cosies (quite unusual) with an egg cosy which matches the rectangular one (well – it is in the same colours).

PLUS a daschund dog draft excluder that would work as a toy as well – You might need to shorten him a bit for that !

Great for stash busting.

* WZ now has some other crocheted novelty items – do have a look.

All three very simple crochet.

About WonkyZebra

WonkyZebra and I have collected tons of patterns over the years. Before this was fashionable and the whole “vintage” thing happened, it was just considered to be a funny sort of hoarding; a bit “anorak” to use one of the slightly mocking terms us English specialise in. Now it is a wonderful source of lost treasure in the online textile universe; who would have guessed! It was quite a relief to find there are many others “out there” who appreciate a good pattern-and maybe even enjoy using them! I think it is a good thing anyone can get access to the designs instead of just those lucky enough to find them in gran’s workbox or charity shops. So, here we are with all our hoard, trying to make it all available as fast as we can…hooves don’t help much so it is down to me. I squeeze it in between actual crocheting, knitting, life, and other sundries. Vintage patterns; PDFs for sale at http://wonkyzebra.etsy.com
