132 Egg Cover Cosies 2245

WonkyZebra 132 Egg Cover Cosies 2245

Cute and quick idea for Easter – a fun way to hide some eggs- real or chocolate ones!

There is a lot of scope for ‘stash busting’ and customizing here.

Don’t be put off by the “ po faced ” Chicken- I’m sure yours will look happier!

(Especially with a couple of frilly wings added! I will put some ideas with the PDF.)

WonkyZebra 134 Granny Square Maxi Dress

WonkyZebra 134 Granny Square Maxi Dress

An outrageous “granny square gone mad” hippy dress. Very sixties” flower power” – with a fab vintage boho look – for the beach, evening, festivals- or just relaxing or entertaining at home.

It would be a great “stash buster” or you could plan your colours to blend or clash as much as you like. Great for stepping up from granny square practice ( and just as cosy as a blanket or afghan – but much more glamorous ) !

Also quite easy to ‘custom’ your own fit.

WonkyZebra 135 Easter Bunny Dress Set

WonkyZebra 135 Easter Bunny Dress Set

A perfect set for an Easter gift to a girl baby.

A dress, cot blanket and bunny toy.

Any one of them would be nice and two or all three make a sweet set.

The dress has a contrast garter stitch yolk and (optional) matching garter stitch bunny appliqué (patch) this can be seen in the fourth photo which has been tweaked to show it.

Apologies for the poor photographic quality but this comes from a very aged pattern.

WonkyZebra 136 Crochet Beach Set 2108

WonkyZebra 136 Crochet Beach Set 2108

This is a very pretty crochet bikini set.

A real “crochet look” bikini with good panties and a modest but still dainty top.

I think it would look nice in cotton or bamboo yarn rather than the recommended wool yarn!

measurements to fit ;
bust 32-38inch bust
panties 35-38 inch hip
jacket 24-26 inches long

WonkyZebra 137 Fishnet Bikini 6233

WonkyZebra 137 Fishnet Bikini 6233

A fabulous multi pattern for two vintage but timeless beach sets! A total “must have” 2 beach combo and great value!

Two bikinis, a mesh over tunic and a sweet flowered mesh jacket, plus two beach bags!
There is a lot of scope for the perfect fit here and enough mix and match for a good beach holiday; plus plenty of crocheting beforehand.

Bikini one has triangular cups, string ties and small lace trimmed panties.

Bikini two is a halter neck, with the cups worked flat from a “gathered” band, tapering in to two long halter ties. The panties have deeper sides and flowers scattered over.

Two completely different cover-ups and bags complete the set.

NB it doesn’t mention lining but clearly needs it if made in white or pale colour!

WonkyZebra 139 Evening Dress

WonkyZebra 139 Evening Dress

A romantic BoHo crochet lace evening dress. A really beautiful fairytale dress, to drift around in like a princess. As a contrast to the intricate lace skirt and sleeves, it has a tiny, renaissance style, bodice in a simple plain stitch, with square cut armholes.

The pattern looks more difficult than it is (and is on a large scale- so only hours of crochet – not weeks, LOL). It is an interesting pattern similar to pineapple doyleys, and built up in an easy to see and follow structure.

It would make a stunning bridal gown!

WonkyZebra 140 Crochettes 201

WonkyZebra 140 Crochettes 201

A simple traditional first crochet set. If you have ever wondered how to make a granny square- or what to do with them once you have… here is the answer; or several answers in fact!

A great retro vintage seventies fun collection.

All you need now is some wool and a hook….

About WonkyZebra

WonkyZebra and I have collected tons of patterns over the years. Before this was fashionable and the whole “vintage” thing happened, it was just considered to be a funny sort of hoarding; a bit “anorak” to use one of the slightly mocking terms us English specialise in. Now it is a wonderful source of lost treasure in the online textile universe; who would have guessed! It was quite a relief to find there are many others “out there” who appreciate a good pattern-and maybe even enjoy using them! I think it is a good thing anyone can get access to the designs instead of just those lucky enough to find them in gran’s workbox or charity shops. So, here we are with all our hoard, trying to make it all available as fast as we can…hooves don’t help much so it is down to me. I squeeze it in between actual crocheting, knitting, life, and other sundries. Vintage patterns; PDFs for sale at http://wonkyzebra.etsy.com
