181 RollNeck Tunic PantSuit 4472
A stunning, elegant, seventies pantsuit.
This set will take you anywhere- and would look F.A.B. in white or cream for a summer holiday.
The sleeveless tunic has an unusual roll collar- very seventies. The trousers (pants) are a great shape, with a gentle flare. And if that wasn’t enough it is made in tangerine; with a more than subtle glitzy sheen!
(Always wanted to write that!)
Both garments are worked top down for ease of altering the fit (why did crocheters get so into that, so early, while knitting is only just cottoning on?).
WonkyZebra 182 Tennis Mini Dress
A “Pretty as a Picture” Knit Crochet Tennis Mini Dress.Plain knitting with an unusual and gorgeous crochet back detail.Just the thing to distract someone watching, if your playing isn’t up to Wimbledon standards. You could make this a little longer for a stunning party mini dress.
WonkyZebra 183 Patio Dress
A cool maxi dress for relaxing in- perfect for cozying up at home – or a summer night out. This dress is worked hem up – in a simple – and very quick 4 row pattern. You can follow the colour plan here or make it a more random multicoloured “stash buster”… up to you.It could also work as a sleeveless or short sleeved version if you are up to adapting the pattern just a bit.
WonkyZebra 184 Tricolour Bikini
A very patriotic bikini pattern – but you can make it in any colours you like!A simple pattern to make, the top is buttoned at the back, and both top and bottom have elastic worked over with edging stitches.Great for a first attempt at bikinis.Bust size 81/86/91cm
WonkyZebra 185 White Mesh Bikini
Another stunning French crochet bikini that shows off simple crocheting to great effect. It has very good shape and detailing, with a draw string tie to the panties ( but you might want to line them! ).The cover up, with its wide sleeve and useful pockets, is a great addition to the beach wardrobe. Again there is nice detailing with solid bands and also a cluster stitch pattern ( but obviously you could carry on in plain stitch if you prefer ).
WonkyZebra 186 Granny Tank Dress
A vintage seventies mini dress pattern with all the period details in one package;
tank shape – check
vibrant colour –check
Seventies in a nutshell-or bombshell!Very very easy basic crochet. For newbies or anyone who wants a “no brain” project. The skirt is worked top downwards (easy to adjust), in one piece- ie in the round, no side seams! yeah! Then the granny square border and straps are added on. You could also do them first and crochet directly from them- reducing the sewing up to zero! You could also have a lot of fun with colour, in the squares and making stripes- see the dress listed as number 134! Good for a stash busting project as well.
WonkyZebra 187 Green Kaftan
A fab vintage seventies “kaftan”; more of a gown or robe really as it has a good fitted bodice and detailing. instead of the normal loose kaftan shape. It does have the big sleeves, however!Lovely cosy thing for winter evenings! ( not sure if a woolly gown is what you need beside the pool ).Also a good basis for a fantasy role play princess costume!
WonkyZebra 188 Knitted Wedding Dress
Knit yourself a wedding heirloom, just right for a windswept winter wedding in wide open spaces. You will be toasty warm in this – whatever the weather.Lots of knitting but you could always adapt the stitch as the shape is still lovely.Actually quite a cosy dress to snuggle up in on long winter evenings – especially if you really like a big knitting project.
WonkyZebra 189 Pink Maxi Frock
A full on maxi dress, full of seventies Va Va Voom.
to quote the pattern
“This elegant flared gown makes you the centre of attention. Crochet it in pastel colours for an ideal brides maid’s dress.”Yup ! That just about covers it.Easy to do, and you could use the pretty floral frills on any other garment, or make a simple tee shirt top from the bodice pattern.______________________________________
WonkyZebra 190 Star Blanket
A lovely twist on the traditional granny square.Great for stash busting; you can make it in this colour way or give it a completely different look with random colours.
